李为民，山东海阳人，博士，教授，博士生导师。

主要研究方向：围绕重要园艺作物病害，长期从事植物-病原微生物互作的机制研究，开展病害发生的分子基础、病原检测等研究工作。

代表性成果：承担国家重点研发计划项目课题1项（课题负责人），主持国家自然科学基金面上项目4项，主持新疆生产建设兵团科技攻关重点项目1项。以通讯作者或第一作者在国内外学术期刊发表论文30余篇，获得国家发明专利授权5项，参与制定国家/行业标准5项。
